Join us for a conversation with author Tyler Staton, Archbishop Steve Wood, and Life Resources Founder Barbara Boatwright. The evening will explore themes from Tyler’s new book, The Familiar Stranger: (Re)Introducing the Holy Spirit to Those in Search of an Experiential Spirituality. Whether you’re skeptical, curious, or longing for a deeper experience of God’s presence and power, we hope this conversation will stimulate your thinking about the role of the Spirit in the Christian life. The conversation will be followed by prayer ministry for those wishing to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Childcare is provided for all Wednesday Worship services.

Tyler is the Lead Pastor of Bridgetown Church in Portland, Oregon, where he lives with his wife Kirsten, and their sons Hank, Simon, and Amos. He is passionate about living prayerfully and relationally. Tyler is the author of three books: Praying Like Monks, Living Like Fools, Searching for Enough, and The Familiar Stranger.
