Volunteers in Youth Ministry

Learn more about the volunteer opportunities in youth ministry. We’re always looking for those who want to nurture the next generation in the Christian faith.

Safeguarding Our Youth

All of our youth ministry staff and volunteers are fully background checked and have been certified in Ministry Safe’s Sexual Abuse Awareness Training. Evening meeting drop off and pick up is monitored by our staff. One of our church’s security officers or a member of the Mt Pleasant Police Department is on site during evening meetings and during major events. If you have any questions please feel free to contact our Youth Ministry Director (contact info below).

Our Safeguarding Policy

Our requirements for safeguarding are set by the Anglican Diocese of the Carolinas. They provide the requirements, instruction, best practices, and standards of care and vigilance, to direct and inform the clergy and laity in the churches of the Diocese of the Carolinas, regarding the proper safeguarding of those entrusted to St. Andrew’s. You can download the diocesan policy: Safeguarding Our People: A Policy for the Protection of Children and Adults (PDF, 2MB).
