Volunteers in Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry connects students to the presence and power of Jesus Christ through a model of relationship, connection, and love. We won’t throw you in the midst of a bunch of teenagers and let you fend for yourself. We provide ongoing training and resources no matter what your role is.

Relationship

Jesus’ ministry was incarnational and relational and so ours must be as well. For students who don’t know Jesus, we want to introduce them to Jesus. For those that are already following Jesus, we want to guide them in strengthening that relationship. We seek to model healthy, supportive, Christ-centered relationships in all that we do with our students.

Connection

We desire to know both the good and the not-so-good things in our students’ lives so that we might speak the truth of the Gospel and the love of Jesus into their circumstances. We want to fully know our students so they may always be comfortable being who God called them to be.

Love

We want every student to know they are fully loved. At St. Andrew’s we desire to live out Jesus’ radical love and acceptance of every student who walks in our doors.
