The Curacy at St. Andrew’s
Called to be a presbyter in the ACNA?
Skills can be taught, but a humble heart is the work of the Spirit.

At St. Andrew’s we aren’t looking for a “cog in the machine.” We’re looking for a curate to join us for a three-year intentional apprenticeship. Our goal isn’t to fill a vacancy, but to resource and form you for a lifetime of ministry.
Sacramental Leadership
You will learn to lead worship in both traditional and contemporary settings, conduct baptisms, and walk with families through the sacred milestones of weddings and funerals
Preaching & Teaching
You will preach at our Mt. Pleasant, Charleston, and North Charleston campuses, receiving close mentorship and feedback to hone your craft. From leading Alpha and Confirmation classes to producing an original course for The Ridley Institute, you will become one of the voices in our Ministry of the Word.
Practical Training
We also call it, “Things They Didn’t Teach You in Seminary.” You’ll learn how every department in a large church works, from Communications to Facilities Maintenance. You’ll also learn about budgets, financial reports, and the work of a healthy Vestry.
