One dimension of our international mission strategy is the identification, equipping and sending of both short-term and long-term missionaries into the world. Short-term mission trips often last 7-14 days. If you would be interested in learning more about international missions or mission opportunities contact Anthony Kowbeidu (AKowbeidu@StAndrews.Church or 843.284.4327).

One World Health
Uganda – December 2024

One of St. Andrew’s partners in International Missions is One World Health and they are changing the nature of short-term medical missions. Their weeklong experiences provide a unique, impactful cultural and educational experience. Volunteer teams aid their our mission to create quality care to those in need.

Conduct medical outreach in the villages surrounding OWH’s permanent medical center. Volunteers are incredibly valuable in fulfilling different clinic roles such as working with the registration, provider or pharmacy teams. These medical outreaches refer patients, promote our permanent medical center and continue setting a precedent for quality healthcare throughout the region. Read more about the trip on One World Health’s website and then if you believe this might be a trip on which you are called to serve, contact Anthony Kowbeidu (AKowbeidu@StAndrews.Church or 843.284.4327) before August 6, 2024.

The LAMB Institute
Honduras – Summer 2025

One of St. Andrew’s partners in International Missions is the LAMB Institute. LAMB is a Christ-centered, multifaceted ministry based in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. They seek to share the hope found in Christ Jesus as they care for, educate, protect, and empower those suffering extreme poverty, abuse, and exploitation in Honduras.

Praise be to God that more and more people desire to be a part of what God is doing in Honduras through LAMB, and that more and more long to do so by going on a trip. This is a great thing! The summer of 2024 has booked quickly and there are 11 teams scheduled back-to-back from June 1 to August 17. If any member of St. Andrew’s desires to lead a mission trip to the LAMB Institute, he or she should contact Anthony Kowbeidu (AKowbeidu@StAndrews.Church or 843.284.4327).
