Sunday, December 21, The Fourth Sunday of Advent

Nursery and Children’s Ministry are offered at all services except the 7:45 am and 6 pm services.

7:45 am – Traditional Service of Holy Communion (spoken) – Historic Church
9:00 am – Blended Service of Holy Communion (contemporary language with a blend of contemporary and traditional music) – Historic Church
9:00 & 10:45 am – Contemporary Service of Holy Communion with the Worship Team – Sanctuary
10:45 am – Traditional Service of Lessons and Carols (traditional language and music) – Historic Church – followed by cookies and hot cocoa in the Prayer Garden
6:00 pm – Contemporary Service of Holy Communion with the Worship Team – Sanctuary

Wednesday, December 24, Christmas Eve

3 & 5 pm – Family Christmas Services – Ministry Center Sanctuary

During the Family Christmas Eve Services, children ages 3K and up are invited to participate in the telling of the Nativity story.Drop your child off in Children’s Ministry prior to the service to put on a costume. We will take the children upstairs at the beginning of the service to be a part of the Nativity story. After the Nativity story, children will be dismissed to sit with their families during communion and they will be called back up after communion to participate in the closing song.

Please note:

Costumes cannot be reserved in advance.
Children do not need to attend a rehearsal in order to participate.
Children’s Ministry will open its doors 30 minutes prior to each service.
Parents need to bring their child back downstairs after the service to return the costume.
Parents are welcome to participate.

A Service of Holy Communion with Sermon and Music of Christmas with the Worship Team – Ministry Center Sanctuary

11 pm – Traditional Candlelight Christmas Eve Service

A Service of Holy Communion with Sermon and Music of Christmas with Organ, Strings, and Choir – Historic Church

The musicians of the historic church will be joined by a string quartet from the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and the service will include traditional Christmas carols and choral music. There will be 20 minutes of pre-service music presented by the string quartet. This service is well attended and arriving 20-30 minutes early is recommended.

Thursday, December 25, Christmas Day

11 am – Traditional Service of Christmas Day

A Candlelit Service of Holy Communion with Sermon and Music of Christmas with Organ – Historic Church

Streaming Services

The Contemporary Service at 7:30 pm and the Traditional Service at 11 pm will be streamed on Facebook and YouTube.
