Tim Winkler

Associate Priest

Tim received his Bachelor of Arts from Wheaton College, where he studied ministry and theology. He earned a Master of Arts in Theological Studies, summa cum laude, with a concentration in Intercultural Studies from Columbia Biblical Seminary. He is currently a doctoral student at Trinity Anglican Seminary, where his research explores the theological, historical, and ecclesial foundations of catechetical discipleship in the early Church and its significance for Christian formation today.

A bi-vocational Anglican priest, Tim serves at St. Andrew’s Church while also serving as Founder and Chairman of the Board of the Winkler Group, a national consulting firm specializing in capital campaigns and strategic planning, headquartered in Charleston, South Carolina.

Tim and his wife, Deborah, have been married for over 35 years and are the proud parents of three grown children and grandparents to their grandson, Bennette. Their family includes Mitch and his wife, Kasey; Baleigh and her husband, Jack, and their son, Bennette; and Carson.

Together they previously served as missionaries with SIM, working in church planting in the southern mountains of Ecuador and ministering to Haitian refugees in Abaco, Bahamas. Tim remains passionate about equipping the Church to faithfully proclaim the gospel and make disciples for generations to come.
